Hey everybody Anthony Morrison here and welcome to another episode of the Unlock Success Podcast.
The goal of this podcast is to give you the tools you need to grow your business. And by tools I don't simply mean the methods or tactics that we teach on some of our other channels.
Instead, we wanted to use this podcast to give you the mindset tools you need to truly master your business, and become the type of entrepreneur and person you have the potential to become.
Today we're talking about the difference between Greatness & Perfection. So often, even though we know perfection isn't a truly attainable goal, we allow it to cripple us to the point where we can't even complete our most important tasks.
The need for constantly being perfect is so detrimental, people will even list it as a weakness during a job interview.
Today I want to help you shoot for a different goal, and that goal is Greatness.
Now you might be thinking, "great Anthony, you went from one esoteric word to another,"
But my goal in today's episode is to carefully tease out the differences between the two and show how you can strive for greatness rather than perfection, and how it will radically transform the way you see your business.
We'll discuss all of that today.

Oh yeah π, I never have been one to sit on the sidelines ππget in the game and play or not, but jump in. I remember when I learned the double Dutch jump rope. The girls twirling the ropes would yell “GO” AND I did. Super Fun !Just a cool story from back in the day π ciao 4 now!βp.s. Adrian has awesome training and I learned about t-shirts π marketing π π π just sayinπ
Happy Thanksgiving! Learning and implementing today instead of over indulgence of food and family I am indulging in my education of online business and implementing what I learned. Thanks Anthony!
How viable is Youtube for an online business? Since it is a Google company they can disrupt your business at any moment, without a reason. This happens all the time!

Love this. We should all understand that Nothing and Nobody is Perfect! As a child your teach will teacher will tell you that making mistakes is wrong. We know that still in most jobs making mistakes is wrong. I believe we now enter a new age where thriving for greatness is more important than thriving to be perfect. Listen to your own story and be breakable. Co-elevate while learning together. Most important is to take the first little steps without being perfect. Make mistakes, learn and adapt. Very important lesson Anthony! Thanks.
You nailed it right on the head. Sometimes it’s the imperfections that make us rich, in our obsession for perfection. That is exactly what I needed to hear. . Much Love.
Some professions are such that you must always work to be perfect. For those of us who have been in that situation, it is especially hard but very important to do what Anthony advises.
Thanks Antony needed this,,,, reminder Winston Churchill .said perfectionism is paralysis !
Great, mind adjustment, even in every day living….
I think we all can continue to strive upwards for Greatness. Practice makes better! Thanks for this. I chuckled at the “perfect date” analogy, by the way… π Be well!
Thank you for helping me think differently and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
Those are very wise words.
Hi Anthony, spot on. I catch myself trying to achieve perfection in my work products. Just recently, I was creating an e-book. Had all the copy ready for conversion. I then took a trip to find and use the best graphics. Ok, that took a while, and I got them laid out.
Kicked off the conversion and during the review I kept making little perfections. Which required changes in other areas. Round and around I went. I wasted 5 hrs on a 45 minute task. It resulted in missing other tasks that needed to also get done.
Same to you!
Yes! Thank you!
