Here's why I believe you should get paid for your knowledge and the RIGHT way to charge for what you know.

Hey everybody Anthony Morrison here and on today's episode of the Unlock Success Podcast I'm going to dive into the somewhat controversial topic of getting paid for your knowledge versus simply giving it away for free.
There are a few different opinions out there:
-Some believe you should give ALL of your knowledge away for free, then if you want help IMPLEMENTING this knowledge you can begin charging for it.
-Others hold that you should charge for BOTH the knowledge and the implementation, where the implementation comes at a much higher cost as it takes in more of your time.
-No surprise here, but I hold to a blend of the two and believe there is a very specific way that you can both charge for knowledge, and give a healthy amount of it away for free.
And I believe this distinction has helped fuel my business with both successful and happy customers for over a decade.
It's all on today's episode so give it a listen and make sure to tell me what you think in the comments!

Loving these YT podcasts that you have been doing… I enjoy them and I learn so much from you… Thank you so much….
Absolutely you should get paid for your knowledge. You worked and found your way and gathered knowledge then put yourself out there to help others. We are taught that “You get what you pay for” and “there’s no such thing as a free lunch” and carry those principles throughout our lives. So receiving something free bears no value to us.
Thanks🙏🙏
“Pathway to sales” I like that! People need to have a little skin in the game to appreciate what in in front of them. I agree 100% on that view of college!!! Another Unlock Success Podcast! Thank you
When it’s free, most people take it for granted. Paid knowledge is the motivation for people who have made a commitment and are willing to push on to the end. I agree some information should be given for free, a preview of what is ahead and what commitments you need to make. Thanks for this video

When you get something for free, the worth of it to you is little. First off you hear the expression, if it is free it must not be worth much,or why would they give it up for free.
Example: When some people inherit money, merchandise, etc. The majority of them will have used it up with-in a year or two. Why? They did not have to work for it. So Anthony my vote is to charge for it, knowledge, and in the long run that person will have something to show for the money they spent, instead of a empty head of free stuff.
Disjointed random information whether found with internet searches or other sources, is useless or nearly useless. If someone has taken the time and effort to organize the material in a useful form and perhaps provide expert training in the use of the information, they should be paid well for their effort, experience and organization of the material.
🌻Selling knowledge has been going on for centuries and I Believe that if you know something that someone wants to learn, then you should enlighten them. Be fair on pricing and I am sure you will have a student forever 🌻
Completely in agreement with you Sir Anthony!!!

Good points. Thanks for your permission. Hope that toothache is gone.
$$$$$$$$$$$$ I always enjoy listening to your Unlock Success Podcast, as your ideas are always a top notch …Selling knowledge & information does help the Consumer & when you give away FREE, there is no commitment. It does go both ways…. Knowledge is Power & Power = SUCCESS $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
You are such an admirable man, Anthony! You always speak with so such wisdom and authority but at the same time with so much humility. I am sure others like myself also find themselves hanging off every word.
I absolutely agree 100% with Lindsay Bond below, such an inspiration. Long may it continue , thank you Anthony.

Hi guys! Let me just share to you a short story. We own a cookie shop business in our college town. When we first started it, we just graduated college and were living in our car with very little direction, just a huge passion to be successful. I started it out of a local bagel shop in their off hours at night with my boyfriend, Bran. It was a crazy experience but it worked! We became a success! And how we have our first storefront location (a second one currently under construction but launching soon!) We started it to fund a year long backpacking trip around the world and to be successful while living the life of our dreams.
