A huge mistake that I see all the time is that people are "product sellers", they only sell what they have, and not what the market really wants. If you really want to have a successful business, you gotta learn to figure out what people want (what are they starving for?!) and then develop your product or service to really hit the bullseye of your market and give them what they are wanting.
Stop trying to sell silly products. Don't try create demand for a product. Your marketplace already has things they want and need, so just go out there and find out what they're looking for.
