Thank you for all this info!
You know I bought an H1N1 zoom recorder to start. I’ve just got to buckle down and learn to edit audio now.
My second mic. Excellent bit of kit
For all those about to start or just discovering Pat and his wealth of knowledge. I took his advice just over 2 years ago. Now have a podcast in the top 1% globally , over 3 million downloads and now its own app. You can not go wrong following his advice .
Great video. Question should you post your video podcast on your youtube channel? I see linus tech tips does a WAN show and it seems to work for them. However I also see that many youtubers like yourself do not post the podcast on your channel? any ideas? Thanks for all the help!
Love listening to this guy… the genuine article…
My question is is how do I connect everything to what software for the audio and have it connected to my video which are the phones and iPad and how to do zoom calls for guests. Overall the whole setup for a great video audio podcast
Delorean! š Also, thank YOU! I got most essentials in place, now I just gotta sit and ramble, haha. I’ll definitely be checking out Buzzsprout as well. š
Love that shirt! Love this topic! Thanks for all you do, Pat.
Even when its a topic I’m not sure about, I catch myself watching and picking up things along the way! Ya never know!
Hey Pat. Ive been wanting to start a podcast all year. Im going to follow your guide here and i promise if it works youll hear from me in a good way.
So I don’t know why this is, but I use Studio One 5 (I’m used to it for music production so I may as well use it for podcasting too) and I can adjust everything post recording to keep it from peaking. I can peak like crazy during the recording and then just add some compression or adjust levels afterwards and then it’s fine.
I love you Patt!!!!
Did you know I used to work with JLD in 2015? ahah that’s where I found you… and until now… still loving every stuff you have..
I started taking his advice since 2015 but I decided not to become a podcaster but a podcast manager who supplies podcast VA’s heheh
Mic Samson CO1UPro – ā

Pat, do you remember when you used to go live everyday and review websites? I miss that
I got this, thanks Pat
I did some podcasting back in 2008 and 2009. I regret not sticking with it. That said it was painful to push them out with the feeds etc. other than smartphones that make listening super easy, the most magical development is the ease in which services like buzz sprout distribute the podcasts. Amazing.
Watched previous videos you created and got the courage up to start my new Podcast Gang Life Redemption on YouTube, Spotify, Audible and Apple, now Iām going into 2022 strong. Thank you!
Right on, all hard work definitely pays off!
Hey Pat great tips and info, so helpful!! Can I start with my boya microphone and record in my mobile cell in the beginning?
