Where are you in your journey? Are you looking for a business partner? Do you prefer working solo? Did you have a bad experience? Share your story below!
I need a partner to do literally everything and I’ll do all the rest
Let’s see if I made the right choice π
Thanks Russell!
Excellent advice!
I feel like all of your advice applies also to who I hire as an assistant. I need someone desperately, but these 6 tips you gave about what to look for, are not easily found!
After watching the video — everything seems on point.
I definitely agree with the “Find someone who complements your personality type”.
But as an expert in personality types, I really doubt you two are the same type.
You’re definitely an INTJ with Feeling over Thinking.
And he’s most likely an INTP.
INTJ-s are really bad programmers. It’s not their thing.
They have a strong Ni (Introverted Intuition) which means they lack Si (introvert sensing — responsible for being able to do repetitive tasks and having long-term memory) and also have Te (Extroverted Thinking) over Ti (Introverted Thinking) — while Ti is really important for good programmers.
So an INTP would be more fitting for Todd — as the functions go like “Ti / Ne / Si / Fe”. This type is typically the head of programming in all businesses.
Examples you would recognize — Mark Zuckerberg, Sam Ovens, Ray Dalio, and others.
This type is the best fit for “Head of the Programming Team” because they are 10/10 in logic/coding and also have Ne parent — which means they feel extreme responsibility to share the vision with the team and make sure everyone’s on board with the vision.
As the 16 Personalities test is very misleading, I suggest when you get the results from it…
Go to the YT channel “Objective Personality” and see their video about the type you got.
The guy there is an INTJ who’s committed his life to Personality Types just as much you (Russel) have to ClickFunnels.
And he’s really good at speaking directly to YOU if you’re the type he’s talking about in the video.
So if you’re in fact the type you think you are, his video about it would be 100% fitting to your life.
While many other videos online on the subject are just repurposed content from the 16 Personalities Blog.
They all say the same stereotypical things about each type while this guy’s points hit deep.
I believe he also does paid consultations where he can type you and then walk you through what would be extremely good for your personal growth depending on where you’re in your journey.
Awesome video Russell Branson ππ»ππ
If I can save anybody from the pain that I went through make sure to NEVER EVER pick a business partner with the expectation that they will be your savior Or that you probably won’t be able to achieve success without them. You need to go in with the mindset that I can achieve this completely on my own but if they help me with their complimentary skills we will get there faster. Also very often we’ll think we need a business partner when really all we need is to invest in learning new skills or just hire somebody instead of having to give up equity.
Thanks for this. I have the right partner based on this criteria.
OH MY WORD THIS WAS PERFECT ππ½ TIMING β±
Love the shirt π₯
In summary, the 6 things we must know when choosing a business partners are:
1. Alignment – make sure they align with your gaols, visions, and mission
2. Find people that specializes on things you are not able to do
3. Find people who have similar values to you
4. Find people who are okay with delayed gratification
5. Find people who are adaptable.
6. Find someone who complements your personality type

Ha ha… thank you!!!
What helped you the most?
Hopefully this video can help you find the RIGHT partner π
Did you choose the right partner for you?
That’s such a great takeaway… ha ha!!! Todd and I work so great together, I definitely got lucky. How do you and your partner fit?!?
Awesome!!!
Love that mindset! How has this helped you?!?
Yeah it’s not easy, but I believe they can be found! Have you searched inside your own market?
@Russell Brunson – ClickFunnels No unfortunately- I did not 4 years ago. You told a story about a friend you helped financially who ended up acting like an enemy. I had that happen and wrote a book about it called “The Best Revenge – is exposing the truth. The friendship and business imploded almost 3 years ago and I have been working on reinventing my business. Your values resonate with me which is why I am happily learning all I can with Click Funnels. My future business partners will be people with Mental Health challenges ~ teaching them to be self employed through our existing NPO. Thank you for making it easy to share knowledge!
Thanks for sharing! Very helpful… π
